International Prom Association is proud to announce International Promise Foundation as their newest IPA division. International Promise Foundation was created as a means of giving back directly to the concerns of our industry’s social audience.

International Promise Foundation

Much discussion and consideration have gone into our first initiative that focuses on the families of nearly 2.5 million armed service members. Each of these families bare one common thread that links them directly to our industry, teen children. In the, anything but normal, lifestyles that teenagers face everyday, those of service families face the added pressure of deployments, relocations, separations and even broken families. That is why we have chosen the USO and its teen outreach as our first initiative. With the USO reaching out to the teens of these military families through various social networks and web based technology, it became a perfect fit for International Promise.

The USO has been responsible for boosting the morale and improving the welfare of America’s armed forces soldiers and their families since 1941. The intent of the USO has always been to represent the American people by extending a touch of home to the military. That is why International Promise is proud to be associated with such an outstanding organization.

The initiative will kick off with a Black Tie Gala during Formal Fashion Week on Tuesday, August 16 at AmericasMart Atlanta. Southern Independent Formalwear Association and International Prom Association are proud to take part in this inaugural initiative and its success.

Look for the Black Tie Gala photos to come!
